President Buhari visits UN office in Nairobi

– President Muhammadu Buhari visited the United Nation’s office in Nairobi today.
– Buhari Pledged Nigeria’s allegiance to a clean and secure climate.
– Nigeria is excited to work towards the achievement of the 2030 agenda.
The Nigerian pfresident, Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, January 28, visited the United Nation’s office in Nairobi, Kenya.

At the August visit, President Buhari showed appreciation for the United Nations Environment Programme’s support. He told UN officials and guests that Nigeria is looking forward to the implementation of the Paris Agreement.

Buhari also pledged Nigeria’s commitment towards that attainment of a safe, secure and clean climate. He expressed Nigeria’s excitement towards the achievement of the 2030 agenda on the global goals, especially- climate change.

During the course of his visit at the United nation’s office, President Buhari planted a tree. He also used the medium to thank the UN for its continuous support in Ogoniland.
